Radiculopathy: Swelling that occurs in the lower abdomen during menstruation may cause swelling around spinal cause will lead to numbness in the toes.  Most of time this is nothing to worry about but should be evaluated.

Restless legs : This may be restless leg syndrome. I would advise that you see your physician, get the correct diagnosis, you may need to sleep a evaluation, get on the right therapy.

Someone asked: The same question a few days ago with the 5th toe. Answer is same. 1) make sure there is no strand of hair around the toe....yes it happens and if there is something there it can cause gangrene,
2) if your sure there is nothing around the toe it sounds like you have neuropathy. In a big toe this could be stemming form an issue with your lower back....follow up with a doc..

Nerve pain: You may have a pinched nerve. You should try back stretching exercises. If no relief is noticed in 2 wks, go to your doctor for evaluation of your back to see if you need to get imaging study of your spine to confirm diagnosis. Feel better:)

Nerve related: if you do not have any sores on your toe and it is most likely nerve irritation this could be from local nerve irritation or possibly a neuroma or even from higher up at the ankle or even in the low back area. If anti-inflammatories do not help in a couple of days then it is reasonable to get checked by a medical professional.

Likely from anxiety: And panic attack especially if all our workup have been negative. U have to train your thoughts that nothing bad will happen to u when u experience these symptoms. Try doing yoga and meditation. God bless you!
