Someone asked: The same question a few days ago with the 5th toe. Answer is same. 1) make sure there is no strand of hair around the toe....yes it happens and if there is something there it can cause gangrene, 2) if your sure there is nothing around the toe it sounds like you have neuropathy. In a big toe this could be stemming form an issue with your lower back....follow up with a doc..
