Body fat distribution (not just total mass) is determined by a very complex interplay between hormones that are very actively changing before, during and after puberty. Eat less and exercis: If you are overweight, then you need to reduce your daily food intake and exercise. Both are important to lose weight but cutting calories is much more effective if you seriously want to lose weight. Also eat healthy(no fast foods whichh are loaded with sugar and fats). Healthy foods are plant based like grains, vegetables and fruits. Supplement these with proteins from eggs, fish, nuts and tofu.

That said, start an activity, any activity, such as walking, and increase to 1 hour a day if possible.    Write down everything you eat to make yourself aware of your intake, including beverages. Eat mostly lean meats, veggies and fresh fruits and whole grain breads, reducing you intake 10%.

About 120 pounds: About 120 pounds would be a good weight for you. Losing weight requires a combination of reducing intake of food and exercising, easier said than one. You may wish to join a support group like weight watchers.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine.

Lose weight: That depends on your height. If you are 4'11" then yes you are overweight. If you are 5'5" you do not need to lose weight. Just calculate your bmi (body mass index) using google. If your bmi is under 25 then you are not overweight. If you are overweight, just eat healthier (less bread, rice, pasta, tortillas, soda, junk food, fast food) and exercise 3-4 times a week (cardio).

Check diet first: Are you taking food rich in iron? Are you taking Pepto- Bismol.  They will both turn stool dark. If you are really bleeding internally you would probably be showing other symptoms.
