Fears tend to increase in the absence of good information. So, websites like this one allow people to quickly get information on symptoms or health issues of interest. Consequently, they are less likely to have irrational fears of being sick.

It's many uses include treating heartburn, many infections (like sinus, ear and yeast infections), acne and other skin conditions. It may help treat diabetes, hypertension and high cholesterol. : Beware of simplistic health statements; always consider context. That syphilis CAN be transmitted by kissing and skin to skin contact isn't the same as saying it actually happens. It's GENITAL skin-skin contact (during sex) that transmits syphilis; hand-genital contact never is a risk. Kissing is higher risk than hand-genital, but only prolonged and vigorous kissing, usually in sex between men.

Generally, yes. the: virus eventually clears up. However, the damage to the cells on the cervix in particular can be long-lasting and may eventually evolve in cervical cancer.  Immunization against HPV protects against the most common strains that cause genital warts and the strains most likely to cause cervical cancer.  But, b/c it doesn't protect against ALL strains, it's important to continue getting Pap testing.

Upper GI Bleed: Profile indicates history of cirrhosis, ascities and esophageal banding. In this case the number one concern is portal hypertension leading to bleeding esophageal varices or other associated upper GI condition, which should be ruled out as the cause of your melenotic (black tarry) stools. Recommend consultation with gi/hepatology.
