What caused them: Go see a doctor. Do not drain them at this time until the cause can be determined.  Did she burn her ankle? Did something sting her. Does she have underlying kidney issues? An evaluation is needed. See your doctor or a podiatrist.

: Your description is to vague to provide an appropriate response. If you walked a long distance you could be experiencing an overuse injury. Try icing for 48 hours (ice 20 minutes /one hour off)  proper shoes might be needed. Good luck

i was licked by a dog in an elevator. i cleaned the area with hand sanitizer then washed with soap and water. the water got on an old blister on my ankle. do i need to get a rabies vaccine?

: If the dog is someone's pet or service animal, not a stray, it has been inoculated. Your overkill with sanitation methods probably sterilized the area. Don't worry. And by the way there are many more varieties and numbers of bacteria in a human mouth than a dog mouth.

You have to be : Careful when you have a blister.  Are you a diabetic or immunocompromised in any way?  If it is getting worse meaning becoming red, hot or painful you need to see your physician to possibly get it drained, cultured and to start antibiotic therapy.

Keep cool, not cold.: The burn extent is probably a first or second degree. Both can be treated at home if you feel comfortable doing it. Start by rinsing the burn in cool water for 15 minutes. Wash the burn with mild soap and water. Gloves should be used to prevent infection. Use a thin layer of antibiotic ointment keep clean. Elevate the foot and take OTC pain relievers.  To remove all doubt, visit the urgent care.

It can be...: If you pop a blister, your purpose is the drain the fluid to relieve pressure that causes pain. Use a clean needle (cleansed with rubbing alcohol and pierce the blister just enough to let the fluid out.  Leave the blister skin intact, and it can can heal in 2-3 weeks. 

If you are diabetic or have poor circulation- do not attempt and seek care from a podiatrist.
