High protein balance: Dieting does not mean going hungry. Dinner should have enough proteins,healthy fats &amp; some carbs with plenty of veg.

Don't give her one!: At 2 years old you don't need to feed in the middle of the night, she is doing this because she can. Just tell her to go back to sleep and she can have a bottle in the morning or even would start using sippie cup at this age. The first few nights might be rough just don't give in and she will realize there is no sense asking anymore. Be strong mom.

The causes are many, and can include taking too many nsaids such as Aspirin ibruprofen or naproxen, drinking alcohol, or extreme stress. It can also be caused by an infection in the stomach (h pylori bacteria). See your pcp to determine.

Q: is it normal to poop 2-3 times a day? ive been fasting mistakenly since i dont wake up hungry and dont like eating right after waking up and my sleep schedule is all over the place with a newborn. does fasting makes you poop more than once?

: It is more likely that the hormones changes in your body due to just having given birth are responsible for increased stooling. As long as the stool is not watery (diarrhea), there is nothing wrong with stooling 2-3 times per day. Make sure to drink copious non caffeinated fluids if you are breastfeeding, and eat a calcium rich diet high in fruits and vegetables.

Peristalsis: These are simply peristaltic waves of contractions that move substances down the gastrointestinal tract. They can be a reflex that starts as soon as food enters the stomach. When the stomach and intestines are relatively empty, such as with hunger, the peristaltic sounds are louder.

Wait until 3 months: A healthy baby who wakes up to be fed at night, can be fed if she is <3 months old, as her schedule is not stable at that age, even if she slept through the night at times previously. After 3 months of age, parents can give a feeding at 10 P.M. Or thereabouts, and expect the baby to sleep 6-7 hours (which is long enough to be considered "through the night" at age 3-4 months).
