Fat malapsorption : Gallbladder, pancreas & other parts of the GI system constantly produce natural compounds to help with digestion of fats (e.g. Greasy foods). An alternation in this intricate mechanism may impede the body from normally absorbing fatty foods. Lose stools & steatorrhea may be observed. When accompanied by vomiting, problems of the pancreas of gallbladder are considered. Internist or a GI dr.

yesterday i felt i swallowed an open stapler pin..now d stool is dark or black.. no vomiting so far..a little pain in abdomen.. what should i do now??

You need a doctor: you should get an xray to check the location of the thing you swallowed AND you need a doctor to check if you have blood in the stool and to advise you if this thing has to be retrieved from inside you, or be allowed to come through on its own.

Kidney infection: There is a high chance that you may have a gastroenteritis accompanied by a kidney infection. Depending on your age this can be caused by multiple other factors. In the elderly you can have a reduced blood supply to the gut causing mesenteric ischemia. You will need to see a doctor as soon as possible to investigate further.

i had a bowel colposcopy  came back i have ibs seen my colon on screen all clear inside, 2weeks later vomiting poop im told i am backed up impacted poo?

No: That us not a side effect of colonoscopy. That sounds like something more serious. You should get to an emergency right now and have them take a ct san of your abdomen.

Not usually.: Depends upon what one is looking for.  The ordering physician and radiologist collaborate to use the proper protocol to get the images they need. Sometimes this requires drinking contrast and/or having contrast injected.

i take bcaa supple. but seems to give me more frequent bowel move. does it mean i'm not digesting efficiently? should i stop taking them? bm looks like food sometimes instead of feces.

With normal..: Intake, and normal intestinal absorption, branch chain Amino Acid supplements are unnecessary. Even with liver failure such use is controversial. If you have a compelling need, discuss with your doc.

Fecal incontinence: Pls have yourself checked- if this is involuntary bowel movement- hope that you are not taking laxatives. Certain severe stresses can cause problems as also eating food items causing diarrhea like symptoms.

Maybe: Slight bleeding could be from hemorrhoids or other anal condition. Cirrhosis can cause abnormally enlarged veins to occur in the gastrointestinal tract that could bleed. Best not to wonder &amp; best is to contact your own surgeon who performed the surgery to get proper information for your own specific situation &amp; conditions.

i've had two bowel movements today. in each instance, the stool looked normal but there was a bluish-green quality to the water near the feces. help.

Stool: If the stools were perfectly normal in color and consistency, it doesn't appear that the pigment in the toilet water indicates a bowel abnormality. If further bowel movements appear abnormal, consult your physician who can inspect and test the stool for hidden blood. I feel that the pigment in the toilet water was some extraneous pigment.
