i have an excruciating pain in my abdomen, on my left side, +- halfway between my hip bone and my pubic bone. since nov 2016, feels knife stabbing same point every time. cant sit or stand,vomit and sweat.  lie down &hot water btl 1-4 hours?

Tiny amounts: It is important to stay well hydrated and this can be challenging if one has been having vomiting or diarrhea.  It is important to go slow and take sips (tablespoon) every 15 minutes.  Avoid sugary drinks.

GI bug?: You need to go to the er to get medicine to stop the vomiting and IV hydration so you feel better.

Can't say: That is impossible to say without a detailed history of your mom's health, what medicines she takes, her diet and habits, and the triggers. This could be an esophagus or stomach infection, heartburn, stricture in the esophagus, bleeding/ulcer, or any one of several more serious conditions. She needs a full evaluation by a doctor in person including tests and labs.

Haven't a clue: She should be evaluated today in a nearby urgent care center or hospital emergency room. With this kind of weight loss she is likely dangerously dehydrated and could have something like diabetes. Take her in now.

Go to the ER now: It sounds like your baby is getting dehydrated. That is an emergency! Please take him/her to the ER now. He needs IV fluids ASAP.

got really nauseous so took zofran 20min ago. i keep feeling the vomit come up- i use water to wash it down.will this disrupt metabolization of zofran?

Not if it stays in.: If you don't ultimately vomit, then the Zofran should be absorbed adequately and work sufficiently.  If you vomit pills up, you may want to request your antiemetic as a suppository.

Vomiting bile: Sounds like you have a history of drinking too much.  May have a gastric outlet narrowing from your past history of drinking and possibly vomiting.  Should see your GP or GI doc for possible scoping and stop drinking!
