Safest to avoid: While maca is used for infertility it contains many chemicals and the safety in pregnancy is unknown so it is safest to avoid it when you might be pregnant. Vitex has been shown to be safe according to the German research. Hope this helps.

See a specialist: If you have regular periods you are ovulating regularly - a period comes about 2 weeks after you ovulate unless you're pregnant that cycle. Women who don't ovulate regularly have irregular periods or no periods, (but may get spotting or bleeding without ovulating). Neither maca root nor vitex supplements have been shown to help female fertility. At 43 I recommend seeing a fertility specialist

Thanks for asking!: Citalopram is fda officially aproved antidepressant/antianxiety medication which has scientifically researched profile.
Maca powde is food supliment which has a mood stimulating effect(not for every one !) and  i did not see scientific studies with double blind 
method which would confirm antidepressant effect, a top of 
if your doctor prescribed  to you citaloprom do not substitute it by yourself.

Probably not: The copper IUD works locally in the uterus so there should be no interactions with this root you are eating, but I'm not familiar with it.

It is unclear...: Maca (lepidium meyenii) is a root plant used as a food and for medicinal purposes. Maca is also known as "peruvian ginseng" because as a folk remedy it is supposed to increase stamina, energy, & sexual function. Because maca has not been extensively studied, it is best not to use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding--because it is not known if it is harmful or not to the unborn or growing baby.
