Have regular periods but don't ovulate every month. can i take maca root or vitex to help me ovulate or will it mess up my periods?

See a specialist: If you have regular periods you are ovulating regularly - a period comes about 2 weeks after you ovulate unless you're pregnant that cycle. Women who don't ovulate regularly have irregular periods or no periods, (but may get spotting or bleeding without ovulating). Neither maca root nor vitex supplements have been shown to help female fertility. At 43 I recommend seeing a fertility specialist
