Probably none : Assuming you have a balanced normal diet, you should not need any vitamin supplementation.  If you must take something, i would take a generic multivitamin such as a centrum or kirland brand generic.

Diabetes: Please check w/your doctor first.  Chromium helps balance blood sugar.  Cinnamon is also good and you can get it in capsule form or sprinkle it on.   Doctor can guide you because if you use these things it can throw of the dosage of meds you may be taking.  Peace and good health.

Very Few: Vitamins have benefits only in specific situations - folic acid in pregnancy, vit D for infants, vit B12 in pernicious anemia as examples. So, absent a specific condition, there isn't much use in taking vits (you literally pee most of them out). Even less data supports most supplements. Spend your $$ on a balanced diet rich in fruits, veggies and calcium (for young women) and get regular exercise.

Eating well: There is no such thing as the best vitamins or minerals. We give supplements for ca, or vit d for bones, and we supplement when needed like vit b12, folic acid, but eating the right things and good nutrition is all that is necessary. Taking a potpourri may cause problems.

Get guidance because the popular brands are typically very week and not helpful.  The dose (read label and check that half or more of the ingredients are several 100 % above RDA.  Dose more important than a long list. Young adult or when having symptoms.
