Yes: You can definitely overdose on fat-soluble vitamins (vitamins a, d, e, and k), because the body stores them in fat, and too much of them can cause an excessive buildup in your body. Water-soluble vitamins (b vitamins and vitamin c) are generally very difficult to overdose, because your body just eliminates what it doesn't need. Can get side effects though, such as kidney stones from too much c.

Hair Loss: Minoxidil can cause hair loss in some patients. What you need is a scalp biopsy to determine the type of hair loss you have as in male pattern hair loss which is genetic or telogen effluvium(te) which is hair loss caused by increased shedding. Male pattern hair loss is treated with Propecia (finasteride) which is an oral prescription medication.Te is treated with B12 injections?

Excess vitamins can potentially cause problems. Some are   stored, others excreted in urine.  I take a daily regimen of vitamins and supplements.  Consider a consult with your doctor or a functional medicine physician.

Viatmins-Safe Use: Water soluble vitamins such as Vitamin B and C are generally consider safer as any excess is removed promptly by your kidneys. That said, all vitamins taken in excess can cause problems so I recommend to read the label on your vitamin bottle and follow the directions.

However, most gummy vitamins do not contain iron- i actually searched quite a bit and could not find any. This is likely to prevent overdose problems. And if they did you would have to take a huge amount- a lethal dose is at least 60 mg/kg, so an overdose for a 50 lb person would be about 1400 mg.
