Possibly: It is true that these supplements do not help to prevent cancer and may increase risk of some cancers.  Your doctor may still feel you need them for certain problems, but you should not take them as a cancer preventative.

Two issues: Early stage small cell lung cancer does not cause malabsorption. Detection with CT would depend on the size and location of the lesion.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

No; but poor diet ca: Vitamin deficiencies (more than 1) like those of which you speak come from a poor diet that often includes alcohol or cigarettes. All of those can, in turn, cause small cell lung cancer but not necessarily. Cancer patients often eat poorly, but there are other reasons (liver disease, heart failure, kidney disease) which can do the same thing. Go to your doctor, get checked out.

Oncologist: Your father should be treated by a cancer specialist, or what is called an Oncologist, immediately! His best chances for effective treatment which may improve his quality of life will be if he sees an Oncologist. He should also eat a lot of fruit &amp; veggies. Amygdalin (Laetrile) has not been shown by research to treat or prevent cancer &amp; may be associated with serious adverse effects. Best of luck!

what are tell tell signs of lung cancer? i have coughed up blood, i have been having upper/middle back pain, and when i went to the doctor they said i had low vitamin d i just wanted a second opinion on what these symptoms might be.

Weight : Weight loss, spitting up blood, lack of appetite and energy along with abnormal cxr or ct chest (spot of chesr x ray or ct chest) are all suggestive of cancer. Sometimes coughing too hard/bronchitis can lead to blood in sputum as well besides lung cancer.

i took one dose of vitamin k2 (mk7) and had awful side effects (palpitations, chest pain, headache, stomach ache, etc). i was just wondering can vitamin k cause blood clots in your body?

: This was likely an individual allergic reaction to some material (even a  trace amount) in the product, not the vitamin K which is present in foods you eat. The natural vitamin K is a co-factor in the formation of the blood factors that allow you to clot normally. The exposure you cited is unlikely to have any effect on your clotting, or anything else. I would avoid that product in the future.

One step: When k-ras takes a mutation that makes it stuck on the "on" position, it confers an unfair growth advantage on the cell and its progeny. Kras mutated lung cancers tend to occur in smokers and make mucin. There's no medicine right now that works especially well for this subcategory of cancers and its presence suggests other good target mutations are probably not present. Good luck, stay proactive.
