cut myself with kitchen knife >10 years since tetanus shot. a week later neck is stiff as are arms and legs should i be concerned? went to pcp he says its a viral infection does this sound correct?

Not tetanus: Doesn't sound like anything serious. If not resolved in a couple of days you need to see your doctor again.

Yes: People with lower back pain can sometimes experience the type of symptoms you are describing, caused by structural irritation of the nerve at the root ("radiculopathy") from herniated disks or spinal stenosis.  When someone has these symptoms without back pain, other causes should be considered, including viral meningitis and radiculitis.  These tend to improve with time but should be evaluated.

my daughter has had a viral infection going on 2 weeks we gave her ibprofene and now she has a rash all over her face, arms, legs and now her back.

See a doctor: This may either be an allergic reaction, or the rash is the result of whatever illness is in progress. Two weeks is too long to have a "viral" infection and not have it seen by a competent professional.  See a doctor asap.

Check with your Rheu: Check with your  rheumatologist. Uncertain there is a link to the viral syndrome after the knee arthroscopy. You could have  picked this up in many settings.  Usually we  advise to hold your enbrel (etanercept) until we are  clear  whether  this is a viral infection or something else.

Eardrum less mobile: When there is an infection in the middle ear, fluid builds up and the eardrum cannot move as well.  It is the vibration of the eardrum that enables us to hear.  The fluid in the middle ear decreases the ability of the eardrum to vibrate causing hearing to be sensitive and muffled.

It depends: If depends what kind of viral infection you are talking about.  Many viruses will be cleared from your body with a few days of rest and hydration.  Other viruses like hepatitis C or HIV cannot be cured at present.

Difficult: These annoying coughs occur when the lining of the throat is renewing itself.  They are especially prevalent if you had laryngitis.   Use of cough drops and cough syrup can help.  Sometimes the use of antihistamines liike chlortrimetron can help.  For immediate short acting stopping of the cough, cut a thin slice of fresh ginger, coat it with honey and then chew on it - gives remarkable relief.

Depends: A wide array of viruses exist. Some can cause abnormal blood work. It is really depending on which virus you are concerned about.
