i'm having what appears to be a very mild herpes outbreak on my outer nasal septum (thing between my nostrils). it's been several weeks and has not gone away. is this my herpes or something else?

Could be-  see a doc: As a doc can do a culture and blood work if necessary and get you on Valtrex (valacyclovir) if the doc thinks it is herpes or other meds if it is not.

i had very mild herpes zoster just 8 blisters and i am cured now my pregnancy test is positive now after 5 days of medicine .can it affect the fetus ?

Zoster: It should not affect the fetus.  It is a reactivation of the virus that you have had since chicken pox (or the vaccine) in your youth.  With shingles (zoster), the virus does not travel through the blood stream - it travels locally down a nerve and to the skin.  If anything it will boost your immunity to shingles/chicken pox during pregnancy.

Tingling: Tingling, burning which then could progress to painful blisters and rash. Some people will have no symptoms but still have herpes. Please get checked if there is concern.

Herpes: Some people do not have pain with a herpes outbreak or it can be very mild. If this happens your doctor may suggest taking medication everyday to decrease the chances of transfering it.

Rash: This term is a layman's expression for anything occurring on the surface of the skin.  You must describe the nature of the lesion and the history that goes with its occurrence to begin to diagnose it, and without actually seeing it, it is impossible to diagnose.  It would be very atypical for herpes to appear like this.

Unrelated: The tests are likely unrelated to your symptoms.  Take testicular pain seriously and get evaluated by your primary care doctor as soon as possible.

Herpetic cervicitis?: Yes, genital herpes can cause cervicitis. However, cervicitis of other and unknown causes also are common. You need testing for other STDs if not yet done, especially gonorrhea and chlamydia. Also, make sure your buttock sores or lesions are herpes. Buttock outbreaks occur but uncommon; most recurrent genital herpes is in the genital area (vaginal, labia, etc). Check with Dr. if uncertain.

oral herpes: Oral herpes is a viral infection from the herpes simplex virus. It usually starts as one or more blisters that break and leave a grey, cratered painful ulcer. It can occur anywhere in the mouth, and like any viral infection, may be accompanied by fever and muscle aches. They are sometimes mistaken for canker sores (aphthous ulcers), which are not caused by a virus.
See your dentist to be sure.

Yes: But treatment reduces the risk of developing scarring that can occur with repeated infections.  If you have had herpetic eye disease, you should visit the eye doctor with any redness, discomfort or change of vision in the eye with the herpes.

Herpes simplex: Herpes simplex in the genital area may cause no symptoms in some people. In others, a few weeks after being exposed to herpes a person may develop fever, muscle aches ; pains, headache ; swelling of groin lymph nodes. The lesions may be preceded several days by itching ;/or pain. They start as red bumps which then develop into blisters. When the blisters break open they ooze fluid or bleed.
