Rash: This term is a layman's expression for anything occurring on the surface of the skin. You must describe the nature of the lesion and the history that goes with its occurrence to begin to diagnose it, and without actually seeing it, it is impossible to diagnose. It would be very atypical for herpes to appear like this.
