Not really: Varicose veins are the bulging out of surface veins in your legs. Sciatica is pain felt at the back of your leg - due to the largest nerve of your body the sciatic nerve being irritated. The sensations of burning / pain are felt along the distribution of the sciatic nerve, moving from the buttocks to down the back of your thigh & leg.

Yes: There is no reason to suffer with pain.There are so many good minimally invasive procedures available to treat the problem.

Varicose veins: Hello, varicose veins on one leg and not the other suggests vascular disease. I see that you have had a cardiac catheterization. The same disease within the blood vessels in your heart can occur anywhere else in your body. A vascular surgery evaluation is recommended. This will be the most direct doctor to help resolve your problems. Also your lipids need aggressive treatment.

Visit a vascular: Doctor for the varicose veins. They could evaluate you and give you options. If you are heavy (weight wise) losing weight will help take some pressure off the veins. Compression hosiery if there is any degree of swelling can help. If fat around ankles is an issue it can be surgically removed.

Family practice : Vein stripping is still the most common surgical procedure.  There are laser treatments and injections that are used but insurance usually won't cover them.

No separate things: Vv in left leg arises from incompetent great saphenous vein or incompetent perforator vein.  Brains aneurysms are on the arterial side of circulation.

Hematoma: you probably burst a varicose vein causing a lot of blood that is trying to resolve itself but it is taking a while because there was so much of it.  You are on several things that should minimize risk of PE but would aggravate something like this.  Put warm compresses on it, move around as much as possible but put the leg up when you are not moving around to reduce pressure on the veins.  Gd luck

Have it looked at: A sprain injury can result in redness, bruising, swelling, pain, and possibly instability of the involved area.  An x-ray will be able to assist in differentiating a sprain form a fracture.  Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.
