dr gave me linespan 600 with my meds (plenica/venlax/lorazepam/remeron). i read that linespan should not be given with remeron. is that wrong?

: Remeron (mirtazapine) can cause a potentially serious interaction with Linezolid. This interaction can cause a serious increase in the level of serotonin in your body, which can lead to a condition called serotonin syndrome. Symptoms of serotonin syndrome can include agitation, confusion, sweating, shivering, muscle stiffness, and changes in heart rate and blood pressure.

dr put me from a month on venlax(i was before on seroxat&it worked but now i'm on venlax.

No::  (Seroxat is Paroxetine, which is called Paxil in U.S.). Both of those meds are among the worst as far as having more discontinuation effects when you stop, but they are effective antidepressants.  The Paroxetine tends to have more risk of weight gain/sedation vs. the Venlafaxine tends to have more risk of irritability.  Either med can be good if it works for you.

IVC filter: IVC filter is usually placed to trap any dislodged clots from the leg in patients who can not or will not take warfarin. If your cause has been taken care of removal should not cause any problems.
