Remeron (mirtazapine) can cause a potentially serious interaction with Linezolid. This interaction can cause a serious increase in the level of serotonin in your body, which can lead to a condition called serotonin syndrome. Symptoms of serotonin syndrome can include agitation, confusion, sweating, shivering, muscle stiffness, and changes in heart rate and blood pressure.
