Hematoma: The venipuncture for blood draw leaked and caused a hematoma outside of the vein or in the vein wall or both and this will heal in most cases without any consequences. I recommend ice in the first 2 days, several times a day (15 min each time) and switch to topical heat on day 3-4 and take ibuprofen as tolerated.

Dryness: The vast majority of conjunctival hemorrhages are caused by dry eyes which can be helped with artificial tears.  Sometimes, the bleeding can be worsened by use of anticoagulants such as Coumadin (warfarin) or plavix.  Other causes include uncontrolled blood pressure and bleeding disorders.  If you have headaches or other symptoms, please see your ophthalmologist right away.

Yes: if they didn't heal, all hemorrhagic strokes would be fatal.  The problem is the portion of brain that is killed by the pressure created by the bleeding, and depending how much and where that is, there are differing degrees of damage from such strokes.

Jugular vein: Jugular vein should not rupture spontaneously but certainly in medicine never say never. Generally rupture will occur from trauma

Consider surgery.: If you are having repeated rupture of varicose veins, i would consider seeking a surgical solution.  There a many newer remedies for these that are effective.  See your pcp or a surgeon or interventional radiologist who specializes in this and is reputable.

Struggle ?: Your meaning is not clear but could relate to some of disease process? Does this mean you are dropping things and are very weak? Or are you trying to do strength training in the hands? The veins might rupture if you are putting excessive pressure on your hands. See you doctor for further advice.

can structural damage to achilles sheath cause vein on leg in same area to stick out? achilles very hard, seems to stick out too--not ruptured.

Bone Spur: It is possible that you have a bone spur in your Achilles tendon, which can cause it to be prominent and hard.  The vein sticking out is not likely due to your Achilles injury.  I recommend you see a podiatrist for evaluation.
