hi, had a uti and kidney infection now since august 16th nearly a month. i'm on my 4th set of tabs. it came back. is there an underlined problem here?

Yes: Assuming you had your urine cultured and were given an antibiotic based on culture results, the recurrence could mean there is a structural abnormality of the ureter that sets you up for infection.  
If you were treated without urine culture, you may have a resistant bacteria needing another medication.   
Ask your doctor if a culture was done.  If not, have one done now.

can flushing your system get rid of uti and kidney infections?

Need antibiotic: clear infection. Drinking fluids  can help but does not kill the bacteria.

i have mrsa all the time.spent 6days n hosp. i have chronic uti and kidney infection. can the mrsa b causing this.i have bad cysts all the time.

Possibly: I would get your urine tested to see if it is the same bacteria.

is aderrall bad for your kidneys?  i have a history of utis and kidney infections.  and i'm noticing on my 2nd day of using aderrall, some kidney pain

UTI's: Although Adderall is not necessarily bad for your kidneys, it is node to sometimes increase the frequency of urinary tract infections. If you are having symptoms of a possible UTI while on Adderall, you need to get your urine checked. Good luck.

UTI is possible: Urine is at the same temperature as your body temperature. You may well have a UTI if it feels very hot. More so because of your past history of utis and and kidney infections. Kidney infections, in fact, are upper urinary tract infections.

does cranberry juice help when you have a kidney infection? what is different between uti and kidney infection?

Possibly but...: A UTI means urinary tract infection which could be bladder or kidney but this usually refers to a bladder infection. A kidney infection is more serious.Cranberry juice contains d-mannose, a sugar that helps if the UTI is caused by e. Coli (about 90%) but not if caused by other bacteria. Pure d-mannose will help more than cranberry juice & can be taken along with antibiotics.

i've been prescribed cipro (ciprofloxacin) for a uti and kidney infection. i have severe lpain in my thigh is this normal?

Not normal: Recent changes in post marketing Cipro (ciprofloxacin) reporting have lead the fda to recently send out warnings to physicians regarding the class of drugs Cipro (ciprofloxacin) belongs to regarding the ability to cause a nerve condition called peripheral neuropathy.  Contact your prescribing provider immediately.

Cipro (ciprofloxacin): This can be from the infection as the antibiotic is not effective yet, but it may be a medication reaction also. You should contact your doctor who knows your history best to figure out what to do and evaluate you.

Endometritis: There are changes associated with this condition that may predispose to UTI as a complication, but endometritis does not cause UTIs. See your gynecologist.

i (19f) am having intense pain during urination and intercourse. i am aware of two large cysts on each of my ovaries, but doc said it's not those. urine cultures are neg for uti and kidney infection. any thoughts on what's wrong???

: It is possible that you may have endometriosis ,depending  on how large the ovarian cysts are you should try a birth control pill for 2 to3 months and see if your symptoms improve.
