If the perforation was during a hysteroscopy, it was probably with a small instrument - either the hysteroscope itself, or a dilator or curette, which are all small. That means that likely the perforation was very small. Waiting 3 months to get pregnant would be conservative and safe, and plenty of time for your uterus to heal.
