Sure: Many of our patients cannot tolerate bifocals or have a need for computer glasses and wear multiple pairs - no harm done.

Accepted Answer

Probably not: Hopefully your prescribing doctor has listed these and eliminated overlaps and conflicts in the medication.  Most people take multiple medications including vitamins at prescribed intervals during the day.  Be mindful of whether to take on a full or empty stomach.

Mainly astigmatism : Your refractive error primarily shows mostly astigmatism correction, left greater than right eye. I would categorize the correction primarily mild to low moderate.

: It is the required process to switch pharmacies if one drugstore goes OOB.  Your local doctor should be readily capable of facilitating this. Depends: If you have double vision when you don't wear your glasses with prism, then you will have it with contact lenses.  If double vision is not a problem for you, then contacts will likely work.

: Avoid excessive screen time. Safe play outdoors promotes distance vision. A healthy diet with a variety of fruits and vegetables is recommended. There is a need for corrective lenses,based on the information provided. If your child was born prematurely, please have a retinal exam.

Depends: The final specification of the eyeglass prescription is subjective and depends upon the skill of the examiner and the alertness of the patient.  If the prescriptions are close to each other then this is probably the cause.  If they were gotten in a short interval from different opticians, then it is best to get a confirmatory examination  from an ophthalmologist.

Accepted Answer

If by illegal: you mean "bootleg" drugs manufactured illegally (e.g., methamphetamine), the difference is a prescription drug is made under govt regulation to insure purity and quality. Illegal drugs have no quality control, may contain toxins, are probably of poor quality and purity, and may not be the drug claimed by the dealer. Using them is a roll of the dice with your life.

Why risk it?: Tell your current doctor, the fact you have a different prescription. Explain the circumstances under which you obtained it.  And then commit to one doctor, one pharmacy.  People have been arrested for less:  carrying pills in a different bottle than prescribed. Why worry about trying to defend yourself when one doctor denies knowing you had another doctor.

on 80mg propranolol/day but still having lots of palps - will my dr just prescription a higher dose? do you think i'll have more success w/a different med?

Accepted Answer

Anti arrhythmic j: Consider time released magnesium. I use a twice plus dosage. Monitor in blood with potassium levels. Few accurate blood tests  are available since nearly all magnesium in body is inside the cells.

Relatively very safe with nerve stabilizing effects noted in the entire body i.e. Antiseizure effects, cardiac effects to stabilize any form of irregular heart beats, a major cause of sudden death.
