See urologist: Need to see Urologist to reimplant catheter. In meantime prevent skin irritation by using some sort of absorbent  dressing

Not necessarily: Would need full clinical correlation. Why was the ua and c&s ordered and how was it collected. Although mixed bacterial flora seldom means infection, it also does not exclude the possibility of infection.  Discuss this with the doctor who ordered these studies.

Needs evaluation: Any reddish or brown color to the urine could mean something is going on in the bladder or kidneys.  You need evaluation by a doctor.  They will likely check your urine for blood or infection or protein and may check your blood levels for kidney function.

Green Urine Causes: Pseudomonas urinary tract infection,  Food dyes and some medications could cause green urine. It would probably be worth getting this checked out. Take care.

what do amorphous sediment crystals mean in otherwise negative urine in a healthy 5yo child?

Normal urates: Urates &amp; uric acid  are formed from protein digestion and excreted in the urine, hence the name, urine.  Depending on the acidity &amp; concentration of the urine, uric acid crystals may precipitate in urine, sometimes in an indistinct or amorphous shape or at other times,  as rhomboid shapes or rectangles, etc. The urine with amorphous uric acid crystals looks cloudy, but is otherwise healthy.

i get a lot of sediment in my urine, pain and sometimes bleeding apx 1x a week then it clears again. why? urinalysis, culture were normal when clear.

Blood in urine: Despite the normal urinalysis, the presence of visible blood in the urine warrants a thorough evaluation of your urinary tract.  You could easily be passing a stone but a more serious problem needs to be excluded.  See a urogist!

Not necessarily: It could simply be salts precipitating out as the urine hits the toilet water.  On the other hand if you are having white discharge from the urethra (tube running from bladder out), then this should be seen by a doctor pronto.  Good luck.

Some is normal: On a lab test  we centrifuge your urine and there is always some urine sediment.  What is in the sediment is what is important.  If you had a uti, were treated and now feel better, the sediment is likely of no consequence, but best to check with the doc who ordered it to make sure.

gallbladder removed 12 weeks ago.  noticing increased sediment in urine.  why would that be?

Not uncommon: Increased sediment in the urine can signify a biliary blockage, which can take place after gallbladder removal. If concerned, see your surgeon for post-op consult.
