: The significance of bacterial colonies from urine culture should be interpreted in the context of the method of urine specimen collection and mixed vs pure (one type) growth of bacteria.  Your urine culture result is suggestive of UTI if urine specimen was from a clean catch and pure growth.  Mixed type of bacteria of same level of colony count often result from contaminated specimen.

: yES IT CAN BE CONSIDERED NORMAL. fLOW RATE IS VARIABLE DEPENDING ON THE VOLUME AND BLADDER CAPACITY ETC.

MIC: This number is called the minimum inhibitory concentration (or mic).  It means the lowest concentration of antibiotic that inhibits the growth of the organism.  In general, the lower the mic, the more sensitive the organism is to the antibiotic.  There are other factors that go into choosing an antibiotic however, so choosing the antibiotic with the lowest mic is not always best.

hi i want to know one thing . sometimes my urine output is normal sometime its decrease. i am mentally very disturb. today when i wake up in morning i went for urine its normal. after drinking 3 water glass after 6 hours. its 120ml. ifeel no urine?

: The amount of urine you produce at any time is dependent on many factors including your hydration level. If you are less hydrated, you will make less urine. It also depends on your renal function. If this continues to be a concern, your doctor can check labs. Good luck to you!

Explanation : If it was clean catch urinalysis, the culture usually contain some amount of different bacteria. For positive result, mean infection, culture should contain more than 100,000 org/ml. Your result look benign.

i had a  penil discharges i had a urine c/s the result its e coli and i took the antibiotic after that the results 1-3pus cell and still coming out ?

Check for STDs: A discharge from the penis is almost always caused by urethritis, and almost all urethritis is due to STDs, especially at your age. The E. coli could be the cause, but you should also be tested for gonorrhea and chlamydia, and perhaps treated for nongonococcal urethritis (NGU) if those tests are negative. However, rare cases are non STD, e.g. with E. coli causing prostatitis.

You can try to give fleet enema to yourself.

Inability to pass urine is of great concern.It could be due to hard stools.

Many things,: could cause this, kidney or ureter problems,  Interstitial cystitis/painful bladder syndrome, infection, to name a few. Please continue to follow with your doctor's recommendations.

i was diagnosed with kp in my urine c&s is it cureable i was prescribed bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) for 10 days i am panicking.

Don't panic!: Klebsiela is treatable.  In an otherwise healthy adult, a urinary tract infection is typically easily managed. Make sure you take them until the entire regiment is completed, even though you will feel better before 10 days.  Not finishing antibiotics contributes to increasing resistance to antibiotics.
