If confirmed, then needs comprehensive work up to determine the reason. Diabetes is very common one but there are multiple systemic and/or kidney diseases that could cuase it

Stage 2 in G2 is still considered mild &amp; low risk. We next look at a protein called albumin and 23 g/mmol is moderate (&gt;30) severe. In your question, you write CKD G2A3, I can't comment on the G, but 23 g/mmol is A2 - on tx?

depending on the p, i would send off blood for aso, anca 2, complement C3 and c4, hiv, hepatitis b antibody to see if a cause could be found for the p, if not a kidney biopsy may be needed.
