InterstitialCystitis: Hopefully it's not interstitial cystitis, a chronic relapsing and recurring condition associated with pelvic pain and urinary symptoms. If this were the case, she would likely had her symptoms for many years. Certain kinds of intercourse can also cause irritation to the area, and also consider irritation caused by condoms (ie, latex allergies get worse with age), lubricant, etc.

: This raises questions of bilateral nerve compression, and could be a problem in neck (which might account for urinary urgency), but also could be more peripheral at elbow or wrist.  All of this is best evaluated by a thorough examination from your physician.

Low : Low grade fever can be a sign of early pregnancy. Not everyone experiences this, so to answer your question, yes you can be pregnant and not have a low grade fever.
On the other hand low grade fever, especially if it lasts for a while, may may a sign of an infection. If this is the case(prolonged fever) you should inform your doctor right away.
Also you can take an early prediction test at this point.

Continue evals: Continue to see your dr for an evaluation of the urgency as uti's are not the only thing that may lead to this symptom.  High sugar levels, and diabetes for example, may cause you to have urgency or even go often.  Good luck.

Usually not: If there are active herpes lesions around the urethra (where urine comes out) then that might cause urinary urgency. But that's unusual. Herpes lesions in the vagina will sting if urine passes over them, but they will also hurt when wiping, etc. A more likely explanation of these symptoms is a bacterial bladder infection.

: No but depends on how close to the border one is. In you most likely a prostate problem. Need to know more such as do you pee a lot. Has your stream gotten smaller. How soon do you have to pee again after peein?  Family history of prostate issues? Do you ever leak?  Discus with local Dr. got to uptodate.com to learn more. Costs a bit but cheaper than a dr for a start.

Prostate: Urgency and frequency suggest a urinary tract infection or possibly an enlarged prostrate. If it only happens during stressful time and if it has been going on 10 years,infection is unlikely and it may be stress related. Have your prostate examined.
