No shortcut: Sorry, no shortcuts.  Hot compresses are the best way to encourage a stye to drain spontaneously, and you can certainly do them several times daily, but short of having a physician incise and drain the stye, there isn't a quick fix (and trying to manipulate or pop it at home is likely to make it more inflamed, and possibly lead to infection).

Stye: Hot compress 4 x a day, omega 3 , 600 mg  and see a doctor to get rex for steroid antibiotic drops and to make sure it is a stye and not a malignancy.

Styes / Chalazion: Styes are from blocked or infected oil glands that open at the edges of the eyelids. Using warm compresses to the eyelids 5-10 minutes once or twice a day followed by cleaning of the lids can help styes to resolve. Using an ophthalmic antibiotic / anti-inflammatory ointment can also help. In some cases the doctor has to drain the sty under local anesthetic, but most resolve using heat.

: I liken styes to eyelid pimples (but do not pop them). Blocked oil glands and/or hair follicles are the culprits which are factors that block pores &amp;inflame eyelids. Ocular rosacea &amp; blepharitis are some. It's best to have your ophthalmologist evaluate you for causes&amp;outline proper treatment. In the meantime for prevention,apply warm water compresses,use eye moisturizers as needed per instructions

Hot soaks: Apply hot soaks four times per day.  If it is not gone in a week, see an ophthalmologist.

Stye: Use warm compresses 2-3 times daily for several days.  This often helps the lid inflammation resolve.  If not, see your ophthalmologist.

: The best way is to treat the blepharitis regularly every day. Every day put a few drops of Baby Shampoo in a cup of warm water and mix up, then dip a wash cloth in and wipe across your eyelids 10 times, then wipe off with warm water. Also take regular warm showers and let the water run over your closed eyes. For the stye, hot (keep hot) wet washcloth for ten minutes 3x per day over closed eye.

Stye: 2 types of lumps occur frequent ly in the eyelids . They are not the same but are commonly (and erroneously) used interchangeably: stye, is an infected hair follicle of the eyelash or other hair follicle of the lid.
Chalazion is a blocked oil gland of the lid, meibomian gland. Trapped oily secretion becomes ranzid, causes inflammation. It may get infected. Hot moist compresses + topical antibiotic.
