What can cause recurring styes on my eyelids? how can i get rid of them?

I liken styes to eyelid pimples (but do not pop them). Blocked oil glands and/or hair follicles are the culprits which are factors that block pores &inflame eyelids. Ocular rosacea & blepharitis are some. It's best to have your ophthalmologist evaluate you for causes&outline proper treatment. In the meantime for prevention,apply warm water compresses,use eye moisturizers as needed per instructions
