hi. my elbow  and now my  forearm/upperarm is now  hurting!. i have a very manual job . would a strap/support help?. really getting me down

Elbow pain: Most probably related to "overuse" that can manifest itself with tenderness at the lateral epicondyle (outer aspect) of the elbow. A tennis elbow strap can dampen the pain and act as a shock absorber.

Could be siezures.: Siezures can be manifested by spasms in muscles anywhere. Doesn't have to be like an epileptic siezure where you lose consciousness and bite your tongue. See your doctor!

i keep feeling something in my upper arm pop every time i forcefully extend my elbow. what could be causing this. the pain is closer to the shoulder?

Dislocation possible: I would follow with an orthopedist to examine your arm. If the pop is closer to the shoulder you may have a dislocation, labrum tear, instability or rotator cuff injury.

Arm pain elbow numb: More information is required but it is quite likely that you have some nerve compression. The question is where and why? Due to muscle entrapment, trauma, shoulder dislocation, cervical spine disorders, pressure from abnormal positioning during sleep, etc? All of these are possibilities and more. If they persist, discuss this with a physcian.

Arm pain: This discomfort may be due to an irritable nerve or muscle in the upper arm, but could also be caused,though less likely, by nerve impingement from a spur or bulging disc in the area of a neck vertebra. If symptoms become more troublesome, see your physician or a neurologist for evaluation.

Ulnar nerve: what you are describing sounds like ulnar nerve irritation at the elbow. Pressure on the elbow leading to tingling. Any swelling: Need to be evaluated . It may be soft tissue , it may be from the bone . At your age , we need to rule out bone tumor . This is not to scare you but bone tumor has bimodal presentation . See you doc , be examined and if need be have imaging . Good luck.

Yes.: Get it checked out by your orthopedic surgeon.  This might be a sign of infection that requires treatment (antibiotics).  It could be an allergic reaction as well.  Definitely, play it safe and have it evaluated.

: The issue is whether there's inflammation,strain or overuse.of one of the stuctures in the area of the right elbow or inner upper arm or whether there's a nerve impingement affecting the right upper arm. A physician would examine the right elbow,&amp; upper arm &amp; put you through some maneuvers in order to make a diagnosis &amp; advise you. I favor some.chronic  inflammation of a biceps tendon.

wasp sting 6-8 weeks ago. upper arm just above elbow. took a few days to settle down. now same area flared up a couple days ago. itching. a red swollen bumpy rash. warm to touch. doesnt hurt but really itches. infection  cellulitis?

: Probably not infected. However, suggest you see dermatologist to confirm and obtain the proper treatment which might be a potent topical steroid cream along with an antihistamine. You might want to soak  the affected area in ice water until seen.
