Reaction 2 somthing: If it's red and itchy, more than likely it's an allergic reaction to something (new skin care product, soap, detergent, fragrance, etc...) could be something else though, so should be checked and treated to give you relief.

: Rashes are quite difficult to sort out without an exam.This could be something simple like a reaction to something that touched the skin or the result of a viral infection.If it is bothersome or persistent  i would have your pcp look at it.

Multiple causes : Without seeing the appearance and distribution of the rashes, it is almost impossible to be definitive about what it is. Some possibilities include keratosis pilaris, petechiae, folliculitis, or other causes. See a dermatologist to evaluate and treat the rash while it is active.

Doubtful but: Skin rash can be caused by many things including viral infections other than HIV. You did not mention whether you have had unprotected sex during the past 40 weeks and thus a negative test at 27 weeks cannot tell you whether you have contracted HIV or not. Hmmmm: A photo sure would help.  We need to know more about the bumps that are appearing... It's not likely to be allergic reaction to cortisone... Are they on your back as well? If you look at your back does it appear to be a christmas tree? Do the bumps look like "little tiny ringworms" with a scaly round rim and central clearing? Try a Prime Consult, with some good pics we may be able to diagnose.

reaction to wool scarf 1mth ago. upper chest still off/on itchy, slightly red. can't see doc for 3 wks. might clobetasol rx for my hand eczema help?

You may try ...: your Clobetasol for a few days. As you probably already know, topical steroids should not be used for more than 5-7 days in a row ("5 days on, 5 days off"). If no improvement, see a doctor. You can always try neutral, oatmeal based, scent free soaps and lotions to help with symptoms. You could also try oral antihistamines (OTC) to help with itching.
