Likely not: The armpit is a pretty sensitive area that can be prone to infection. A true cyst will need to be surgically removed. Other masses can be associated with other diseases. Even an abscess in the armpit needs to be seen as it can be indicative of other serious problems that require medical intervention.

I would encourage you to see your doc if this very painful, growing in size, has surrounding redness or you have fevers. Surgery: Have these surgically removed.  Either a general surgeon or a plastic surgeon can do it.  Be sure you keep your weight under control.  These cysts are more common in folks overweight.

Deep or superficial?: If its up in the skin and moveable it is most likely just a skin cyst.  If it is deeper in the armpit between the muscles it may be a lymph node.  These can feel like a grape deep under the skin.  If infected cyst,  it  may come to a head and break with hot compresses or need drainage.  If deeper and not resolving get mammogram and breast exam to rule out a breast ca that spread to lymph node.

Lymph nodes: The tail of the breast extends into the axilla or armpit.  There are also multiple lymph nodes.  If one becomes swollen and/or tender, you should see your doctor.  Especially if it grows in size rapidly, becomes hard (like a stone) or fixed in place.

2 weeks: Healing time after a cyst excision can take up to 2 weeks. If it has been a large cyst removal then the healing time can be longer as well. If there is any redness or swelling or ooze from the site then the wound may be infected and healing time can be more prolonged. It would be prudent to allow up to a month for the excision to heal before undertaking exercise or heavy activities
