Same as other BO: Like other body odors, good hygiene works. While in the bath or shower, gently pull back the foreskin and wash underneath it.

i think i have balantis. my penis smells bad even after i wash thoroughly. i got a brown stain on the head, its also a bit bumpy, looks like its about to crack and its always red. im also uncircumcised.are there any remedies i can use to cure it?

: Wash with antibiotic soap, ie CLN.
Then apply gently but completely Polysporin ointment,  not Neosporin, twice daily.

Oiling thy penis?: A normal, healthy penis is self-oiling, meaning penis skin produces enough oil to keep itself healthy... presuming a guy is not repeatedly washing his penis nor exposing it to the elements such as being a lifeguard at a nude beach. If needing moisturizers and wanting to use coconut oil (or CeraVe, or Cetaphil), the application has no specific rules... so start from one end and oil it to the other.

Who says they are?: There is no evidence that penises are larger if not circumcised. This organ varies widely in size, hence many social myths based on cultural belief systems.  Circumcision has mixed benefits and risks, is no longer medically required but in some cases makes hygiene simpler, so parents request it.  Some do the procedure because that is a religious or family tradition.

No good answer: Most of the world is not circumcised however ~60-70% of the usa is circumcised.  Some data suggests circumcision reduces sensation during intercourse.  Circumcision does reduce risk of transmission of sexual transmitted disease (stds) but this is more of a public health benefit (that individual risk reduction is very small).  Circumcision is an individual choice with benefits and risks.

Amines: That fishy odor comes from chemicals that contain amines.  Smegma, dead skin cells, bacteria and fungus in a moist environment can contribute to amine compound production.  Keeping the head of the penis dry after bathing and urinating will help to reduce this.

There were some men who were home birthed who were embarrassed that they were not circumcised - as they believed it cued other people to the fact that their families are impoverished. Some religions require circumcisions for males.
