Basics: A person performs at their best when they are healthy, get proper sleep, get proper nutrition &amp; in a comfortable setting. You need to examine each of these main issues for the most likely problem. If needed have a checkup to make sure there are no health issues contributing to this process. Stress is another factor you may need help with.

You may: Need to focus more on arousal.  For some women, they may require a longer period of arousal/foreplay prior to any form of penetration as their bodies just take longer to produce significant amounts of lubrication.

Conservative rx : Initial team is conservative.  Gentle range of motion exercises. Anti-inflammatory like Motrin or Naprosyn (naproxen). Soak in the bath with Epson salt and Warmwater 20 minutes/day x 3.  Request muscle relaxer, mild, from Primary care doctor. If symptoms persist, then you need to be in person

Catalepsy: Common on awakening and going to sleep. Compare it to cataplexy, a sudden falling out.

i had an episode of severe doziness when standing up that made me unable to walk or sit. it improved when laying down.  could it be something serious?

Important to check: Acute dizziness with changing body position may suggest changes in the intracranial pressure in the posterior portion of the head and upper neck...
If these episodes are frequent you may need to consult your doctor in order to request an imaging study of the head [ct-scan or mri].

could some assist?

i woke up with a sudden severe pain in my tailbone. i am unable to sit flat and getting up or attempting to sit down is a real problem. the pain is isolated. is there any cause for concern? is this normal?

Not normal: You may have what is called a pilonidal cyst.  These do not get better without being drained of pus, in a clinic or ER.  I hope you feel better soon!

severe nausea unable to keep anything down. what do i do?

Start with sipping : Water. It is important to keep up with your fluid losses from vomiting. If you become dizzy or weak when going from sitting to standing or lying to sitting, then you are likely dehydrated. In that situation it would be good to go to an acute care clinic or er for intravenous hydration.  Once you can hold something down you can graduate to clear liquids.  Ginger tea or  ginger ale help with nausea.

my boyfriend is unable to sleep b/c he is always hot. is there something i can do or buy that would help him cool down?

Keep cool: Our bodies need cool air to cool our bodies down as we sleep.  All the obvious things will help like no blankets and cooling the air where he sleeps.

It takes time: To build trust with a therapist. Tell them how hard it is to speak about your feelings with anyone. They will help you open up. When depressed try calling a hotline where the staff are trained to help people 24/7. Avoid alcohol since it will make you feel more depressed. If your thoughts include plans of ways to harm yourself call your therapist or go to an emergency room and get help right away.

i've been told i have mumps on monday. since then my neck is more swollen however my temperature has gone. im unable to eat when will my neck go down?

Doesn't sound like m: Mumps is usually swelling of the parotid glands, not the neck. You may have a throat infection or swollen glands from mononucleosis. Appropriate cultures and blood tests would be helpful.
