had soft ulna fracture last year. still experiencing pain when temperature changes. why does this happen and when is it going  to stop?

Maybe: Unclear what a "soft" ulna fracture is?  Patients often report being able to sense temperature or weather changes in their bones.  I am unaware of any physiologic basis of this, though many people do report it.  If the pain is severe, it should be investigated to rule out a non-union.

Often : Often healing fracture sites are enlarged.  The ulna is practically right under the skin, so it is not uncommon to feel this "bump".  Ask your orthopedic surgeon about it if it becomes more painful.

Healing: One an x-ray confirms that the bone is healed, you can start back to exercise. It is recommended that you start slowly and progress as tolerated. Healing bone needs to see gradual increases in strain so that it can get stronger.  Good luck!

Hard to say: May be too early to see callus, nonunion, etc. X-ray findings need to be correlated with history and physical exam, preferably by an orthopedic surgeon. There is no shortcut to this.

Yes: in an adult, a fracture they did not need surgery would be ra elatively benign fracture and you should've done well

May or may not: More info. About the location of fracture needed. However sometimes the symptoms become chronic and may last years. You are on appropriate symptomatic treatment.

Cast or surgery: The ulna fracture if is not displaced you could treat him cast, if displaced you need to do surgery for it.

Monteggia?: A fracture of the ulna w/ associated radial head subluxation / dislocation (@ elbow) is known as a monteggia fx./ dislocation. If recognized treatment is orif of the ulna( plating) and reduction of the radial head dislocation.( it usually reduces spontaneously after fixing ulna)...

i had accident last month & broke my left arm ulna shift, the fracture is simple and not displaced. after 4 weeks the x-ray 2day not showing progress.

Not unusual: That is not uncommon.  For healing to show up in X-ray, it has to be pretty far along.  Most ulnar shaft fractures heal by about 8 weeks, but we typically don't see much on X-ray at 4 weeks.  The main reason we get an X-ray at that point is just to make sure it is still in good alignment.
