Maybe: Very few people have a perfectly straight septum (partition that divides the nose into left and right cavities).  The critical question that must be answered by the patient, not the doctor, is the deviation causing an obstruction that results in severe breathing difficulty that alters your quality of life.  If yes, then i would strongly advise a septoplasty (repair of the septal deformity).

my brother (26), suffering from constant facial pain for over a year now. he went to many doctors, but no progress. he's been checked for deviated nasal septum, teeth, trigeminal neuralgia; all turned out negative. pain killers don't help?

: A few thoughts: 1. TMJ issues, seek out specialized dentist  2. Occult sinus inflammation or infection  3. Unusual neuralgias such as sphenopalatine, vidian, etc.     Re. meds, maybe more successful using gabapentin or Lyrica?

Not serious: Septoplasty or surgery to correct a deviated septum is fairly routine and not serious.  Very few risks and a great deal of benefit.  There are only 2 reasons that i can think of to have this surgery. 1.) if the septal cartilage is causing you to have difficulty breathing and you are unhappy about it, and 2.) if you are having intra-nasal sinus surgery and the septum is blocking exposure of sinuses.

None really : There is a normal physiologic cycle that is controlled by the autonomic nervous system that makes one side more congested from one side to the other. Buy other than steroids, decongestants, and saline spray and/ir the use of a neti pot there are few physiotherapy options for nasal septal deviation. Most treatments are for associated sinusitis. Mainstay of therapy is surgery when medication fails.

Abnormal Airflow OK: After a septoplasty there can be clogged blood and mucous in the first few weeks.
You may even have some splints that hold the deviated septum in place that can obstruct breathing.
Your doctor can check this at your next visit.

Might be: chronic reflux raise head of bed continue with h2 blockers or ppis  no alcohol, chocolate mint or tomato sauce

Headache: It could be you have deviated nasal septum as well as sinusitis problems which may be causing the headaches. A ct scan of sinuses may be indicated. And appropriate surgery on nasal septum or sinuses may alleviate your problem.

Seek ENT eval: You need specialist evaluation for this for definitive fix IF it is a DNS. Other reasons for nasal obstruction do exist though which a good ENT will review and exclude. Sometimes two things or more are ongoing
