Yes, w/ restrictions: It is safe to take those in combination assuming you do not have significant liver disease or are not a long time heavy drinker. Make sure you read ingredients of all the pills you take as some contain acetaminophen and that is not immediately apparent. Be certain to maintain good hydration and do not exceed 1000 mg of tylenol at one dose or more than 3500 mg in one day. Never over 4000 mg in 24hr

my kidneys are starting to go low functioning, what kind of over the counter painkillers can i get that dont affect the kidneys? my doctor said to use cream, id rather have pills, cant take tylenol, i break out in hives, what else can i take for pain?

KIDNEYS AND PAIN: IF YOUR KIDNEYS ARE WEAK THEN ANY OTC PAIN PILLS OTHER THAN TYLENOL CONTAIN NSAID'S AND THIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED AS NSAID'S CAN CAUSE MORE KIDNEY DAMAGE.  I WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU SEE A PAIN SPECIALIST

i took a tylenol maybe three hours ago, and it feels stuck in my throat. i've tried drinking warm water, eating ice cream, throwing up, etc. it doesn't hurt to swallow or anything, it just feels stuck. also i have bad acid reflux, and i have anxiety.

Pill: The mucosa in our throats can be easily irritated. The pill may have temporarily adhered to throat tissue. The fact that it still feels odd may be because of mild inflammation but doesn't mean that a pill is still stuck there. Try to calm yourself.

So before you continue to self-treat this pain, which has been going on for a couple of months already, please go see a doctor to get the diagnosis and the appropriate treatment.

Sounds ok: If a person had no prior problem with taking Vimovo (esomeprazole and naproxen) by itself, or either of its ingredients by themselves; and had no problem taking Tylenol #1 (acetaminophen and codeine) by itself, or either of its ingredients by themselves; then she should be ok taking Vimovo and Tylenol #1 together. They may cause stomach symptoms. Be sure to follow one's doctor's instructions.
