Lights in the eyes.: Not uncommon to see momentary spots or even images. The cone cells in the back of your eyes are firing.

See your PCP: for evaluation, tests to rule out Temporal Arteritis or any other primary headache and proper diagnosis and treatment. See your doctor ASAP to avoid serious complications.

Can be normal: Light flashes or sparks can be nonspecific and not dangerous. They can indicate vitreous traction or may actually be coming from irritation in the brain in the visual tracts. If the sparks occur in the temperol periphery it may be secondary to changes in the eye. Though these are usually normal findings it may be helpful to have a doctor check you if they continue.

i am seeing thousands of tiny sparks across my field of vision. what could cause that?

See below: It could be a retinal tear or detachment, an ocular migraine, a vitreous detachment, among other things. You must see an ophthalmologist. Preferably a retina specialist, right away.

Ophthalmologist: If you're experiencing flashes of light in your vision, you may be having slight detachments of the vitreous in your eye but to be certain that these are not retinal events you should have a careful eye examination by your ophthalmologist. Ocular migraine is another possibility. Discuss your blood pressure concerns with your primary care physician.

Stop worrying: If everything has been normal then perhaps you should stop worrying about this and live your life. Not every phenomenon has a pathological cause or a medical explanation.

100% polyester blanket and at night if i rubbed the blanket together a lot of static comes and it sparks up can it be harmful? how do i get it out.

It's pretty!: The static that builds up is a normal occurrence when the heat is on in the winter.  If it really bothers you, lower the thermostat in your house to less than 65 degrees, and run a humidifier to get to about 50% humidity.  The fireworks show should at least slow down.

You will be fine: Just a brief episode of overheating probably. Keep yourself WELL HYDRATED in HOT summer weather..specially when working out or doing extraneous physical exertion.

Not sure: you restarted a prescription, you have occasional dizziness, you see flashes of light, you've been seen 2 to 3 times in the last 3 to 4 days. If you had appropriate work up at those visits, I would not be too concerned about your symptoms. If any of your symptoms are new and were not discussed at your previous visits, you need to see your provider for reevaluation. Hope this helps. Best of luck

Exam can help tell : Seeing flashes of light can be associated with eye problems (pvd, retinal tear, etc) or high blood pressure. In pregnancy it can be associated with preeclampsia also. Most doctors want to be called or have a patient seen quickly if such symptoms. A physical and eye exam plus evaluation of blood pressure and tests can help determine what's occurring.
