Ophthalmologist: If you're experiencing flashes of light in your vision, you may be having slight detachments of the vitreous in your eye but to be certain that these are not retinal events you should have a careful eye examination by your ophthalmologist. Ocular migraine is another possibility. Discuss your blood pressure concerns with your primary care physician.
