i am having sharp pains on my left side  and i feel bubbling. i am having trouble passing gas and passing stool. what could be wrong ?

Many causes: There are too many causes to go into with little information. It could be a 'spastic colon' known as irritable bowel syndrome. I would suggest you contact your doctor for further advise.

i have a sharp pain/cramps in my lower abdominal  and have trouble passing gas as it hurts when i try to squeeze the gas out. is this a serious issue?

Don't squeeze.: Lower abdominal cramping pain may be caused by multiple medicl. Gyn, and urological issues. I strongly suggest a comprehensive phsical examination to include blood and urine testing. Do not squeeze!

can symptoms of appendisitis last a few days to weeks? had ultrasound earlier, everything looked okay but now lower right side is tender when pressed but otherwise fine. comes and goes. have been having diarrhea and constipation, trouble passing gas?

Doctor can examine: Two weeks is a newborn, which means a pediatrician should examine baby. Babies can easily catch infections from other people. If an "older baby" has just a runny nose, without much fussiness, without any high fever, nor other worrisome symptoms, then parents may leave the nose alone. A newborn can have more serious illnesses and not reveal serious signs... which is why an exam is generally done.

i have ibs. diarrhea finally let up after a month of having it more days than not. why do i feel even worse? my rlq is super tender and i've got pain and nausea all over. trouble even passing gas :-/.

Ibs: Suggest  a long acting opioid to control pain with diarrhoea. But may need to get off  Adderall and Prozac (fluoxetine) . . There isa  also a new drug approved for ibs . Ask your gastroenterologist.

can gas x help pass trapped gas?

Accepted Answer

Yes: Gas x is simethicone.   Simethicone helps break up gas bubbles in the gut.  Taket by mouth, usually after meals and at bedtime . Swallow the capsules whole. Do not crush or chew the capsules. Follow all directions on the product package.
If you are self-treating with simethicone, the usual maximum amount for adults is 500 milligrams daily.

Unlikely: If haemorrhoids are large, they still allow gas to pass, unless the person is nervous about soiling themselves and it is a learned reflex... Need someone to check the health of the rectum.. Preferably someone who has experience.
