Valium: The metabolites of valium can stay in your system for weeks, even without taking other drugs.  As for other drugs, they could lengthen that time even more, depending on what they were.

Takes a while: It sounds like it is still in your system.  The half life varies quite a bit from person to person although some sources will describe a half life of around seven hours.  That means that seven hours later you can still have half of the medicine in your body.  As you can see, you are probably going to need more time to clear it.  Stay safe!

5 days: The half life of marijuana is is variable with a mean value of between 13-20 hours.  It takes approximately 6 half lives for a drug to be eliminated from your system. 20*6/24=5 days. The marijuana will stay in your system for about 5 days. Marijuana can also stay in your hair for up to 30 days.

Depends: Most meds labelled like that can actually be taken with alcohol. Manufacturers are known to be overly cautious like that. But there are a few notable exceptions. In the vast majority of cases you can take the warning to mean not with alcohol in your system.  Your specific case may be different so best to ask your doc. No: Could be due to heartburn, allergies or air pollution, humidity. These are items in the environment and not just a virus. Heartburn is a structural change in the stomach, esophagus. See a Doctor if it continues to bother you.

Yes: If you had a D&C for termination of a pregnancy, your HCG would be zero or close to it 2 weeks later.  I imagine that if you were pregnant before, it was because you were not using adequate contraception.  It is not true that following a pregnancy there is little or no chance of another pregnancy. You can conceive. Use condoms or other effective barrier protection, but get some birth control soon.

Sorry but no: Prescription drugs and the ingestion of alcohol no matter how FAR apart they are is never something that physicians can condone since it simply is an edict which comes from on high.

No: No, if you require medication for an infection and then have contact with someone with the same infection, you are not protected from getting reinfected by that person.

i had methotrexate for an ectopic pregnancy 6 weeks ago. 2 weeks ago my hcg was down to 96 and i had my period. the hcg level is now at 11 and i am getting positive ovulation tests. can you actually ovulate with hcg still in your system?

: If your cycle returns, ovulation can occur, regardless of hCG level. In fact, hCG injection has been used for inducing ovulation.

Valium: That depends on how long u have been on the valium, as it has long half-life & accumulates in your system the longer u use it on regular basis, delaying its elimination from your body.
