Need Treatment: If you have had mold exposure, and feel any symptoms of that it is important to get treatment immediately. Exposure to mold can lead to fungal infections. This requires anti-fungal medication for effective clearance of the fungus. If left untreated there can be serious complications as well as spread of the infection to other areas of the body, depending on the infectious fungus.

You need help!: Sounds like a delayed immune response to the mold exposure. History of asthma? You may benefit from inhaled medications to decrease the congestion/cough, such as Advair or otherwise. For the upper airways symptoms, Zyrtec and Flonase could help, though Flonase will take a couple of days to kick in. Nasal saline rinses could offer a quick fix too.

Evidence lacking : Unfortunately, there is not a body of scientific evidence to support the concept that exposure to black mold causes specific symptoms or diseases. When I have a patient who believes they have this problem, i check them for mold allergies and encourage them to get their exposure problem resolved. I also check them for chronic infections and if they have those, i check immune function.

Trachea: The chest discomfort may come from chest wall or from irritation/inflammation of the trachea(windpipe). The other symptoms suggest viral upper respiratory tract infection but could also be due to allergies. The more you cough,the more you irritate the trachea and therefore you may want to take a cough suppresant like robitussinDM to quiet a dry hacking cough. See your MD if worsening cough,fever,

Mold is found in grass, leaves, compost, mulch, and may be stirred up the wind  or by activities like mowing, raking, or sweeping. Indoor mold is the result of a damp indoor environment. To reduce mold indoors the source of the moisture has to be eliminated.

Basically none: Despite all the hoopla, most physicians believe these fears are generated by tort lawyers and big-money mold-removal companies. People with nondescript / vague symptoms are encouraged to blame them on "black mold". The public are the real losers.

Unknown: There is no study that directly links the two, so you should see your regular doctor to rule out other conditions that may cause acute myositis.

Yes: Allergies  can  cause  any   symptoms   depending  on  what  is  the  target  organ  and  when  one  suffers  then  comes  anxiety  indirectly  .  Get  skin  tested  and  work  on  avoiding  the  cause.

Not normal: Go to doctor for thorough evaluation.  I feel confident that mold has nothing to do with your symptoms though.

Allergic: Black mold is a known allergen. The symptoms you describe sound like asthma. This is a condition that must be treated. There are other common elements that can cause your symptoms like dust mites. You need to get the black mold and dust removed ASAP and make where you live safe for a patient with asthma.
