Yes : Taking extra precaution is always good. If the insect bites are not bothering you and you do not get an allergic reaction, the histamine intolerance may not be a factor

What condition ?: Since histamine in food or beverage is not readily absorbed ( even in scombroid fish poisoning),  the histamine in beer is usually insignificant.  Red wine however may possess a histamine -releasing factor from your body cells.  Alcohol itself rather than the histamine is more likely the issue when dealing with food or beverage rather than histamine.

?: Not sure what you mean by histamine intolerance. Histamine is typically released by certain cells in the body in an allergic type response. That is different then an autoimmune issue.

Histamine Intoleranc: In addition to diet control, you could try diamine oxidase formula that works in the gut to degrade histamine from ingested food. Dosing: or optimal results, usually prescribed as to take one (1) or two (2) capsules no more than 15 minutes before the consumption of histamine-rich foods or substances known to cause food intolerance; or take as directed by your healthcare practitioner.

No: This is not a recognized condition but i would presume that some people are more sensitive to the action of histamine than others as with any other chemical mediators.  If you have negative allergy skin test to foods, the best way to find out would be a double-blind food challenge to confirm the suspicion under the supervision of a board certified allergist.  Not all food reactions are allergic.

i cant get rid of the oral trush...ive tried everything.i also have histamine intolerance and i dont know what to do to feel better. can someone help?

Oral trush: make sure you don't have HIV, Diabetes, or any condition that suppresses the immune system. also some medicaions like Steroid could cause persistent trush.

DO / histamine.: Diamine oxidase is an enzyme which breaks down histamine.  Some people have low levels of do and some are thought to have histamine intolerance.  There is no way to change your do so the treatment is avoidance of histamine rich foods.

is histamine intolerance a real thing? i feel terrible after eating a lot of foods lately, i just want to know if it's medically recognized? also someone mentioned it can cause schizophrenia, bogus?

A little knowledge..: Investigations into this and other interesting things have a long history and continue to attract attention. Gains are made, but no clear facts have been found. There is no reason to thin it causes schizophrenia - even if people w/ Sz are more likely to have high levels (which is not clear yet). Causation is different! You may have developed allergies to those foods - get tested. Avoid if so. Best

i just took ketotifen and benadryl together. wasn't thinking. is that ok? i have mast cell activation syndrome from lyme disease? and my heart is always erratic: the irregular heart beat is thought to be from histamine intolerance?

: It should not be a problem. Both have anti-histamine action.
