Stretch the spine: With spondylosis the nerves exiting the spine may be pinched between vertebrae that have overgrowth of bone on them.  By stretching the spine, you release the nerve.  This opens the hole that the nerve travels through between the bones.  This relieves the pain and some of the senosry issues too.

Over door.: The least expensive option is an over door pulley system that uses a halter(think horse reins)that surround your chin and back of your skull up to a pulley system with a weight at the other end.I recommend 7 pounds to start and move upward as needed.

Low back pain: Traction does not cause spinal canal stenosis. Spinal stenosis is caused by an overgrowth of ligaments, facet joints, and bulging or herniated discs. Lumbar or cervical traction is meant to open up the foramina where the nerve roots exit the spinal canal.
