your foot and ankle is weak from being in the boot for 4 weeks. 
Theraband exercises could help strengthen your ankle coupled with range of motion exercises.

Less is More.: Plantar fascia tears can be painful. Treatment with ice, rest and elevation  are part of the recovery. Non weight bearing may be necessary for a few days. Crutches may be helpful early on and eventually a ambulatory walking boot may be needed. The fibroma seldom causes an immediate problem and can wait to be addressed. This type of injury can take time to heal so expect several months recovery.

Sweaty boot: Try using talcum powder on your feet, stocking and in the boot. You can also try calamine lotion. When not wearing the boot soak your foot in cool water inf possible and keep a fan on your feet.

Fascia Injury: Where are you referring to your fascia being torn? I am assuming you mean your plantar fascia on the bottom of your foot. 60-70% torn is quite extensive.  You are listed as 72 years old so it may take 2 plus months to resolve. Make sure you get into some physical therapy so your ankle doesn't get weak.  I like to use unloader boots which have an air bladder inside.
