hi, my molar has decay, the dentist said we must do nerve removal! but i didn't agree is there any alternative to fix my molar tooth without nerve removal? and what is it and how? thanks?

: Your dentist has recommended root canal therapy for that tooth. Once the nerve tissue is compromised the tooth requires this therapy or it needs to be extracted. No other options. Get a second opinion if you need reassurance.

Sometimes: a tooth nerve that is sensitive to cold can heal itself.  This is called reversible pulpitis. If the nerve is sensitive to,not or decay has progressed into the nerve then it cannot heal itself and needs to be treated by a dentist.

Severe medical issue: not to scare you but an infected tooth is not to be taken lightly.  People have actually died from such things and an infection in the mouth is an infection in the body as it can reach certain "danger" areas of the head/neck that will lead to extreme medical issues besides the tooth itself.  please get help ASAP

Probably not: And even it it did, then you would need root canal therapy on that tooth. The clove oil is for temporary relief of pain on a tooth that is alive. At this point, your dentist may be able to restore it without root canal therapy. If the nerve is already dead, the clove oil will do nothing.

Too Early to Tell: An increase in sensitivity of the nerve of a tooth that can have many causes. If you have a deep cavity in that tooth it is probably the cause. Get it fixed right away before you need a root canal.
If the dentist can't find a cavity, you may be grinding or clenching on the tooth at night., or have suffered a blow - say from a fall. If there's no infection and you remove the cause it'll heal.

weeks to months: A few weeks to a few months. After that, you need to be thinking it is not going to get better by itself. If so it would need a root canal.

RCT: If your tooth has a dead nerve, but rct was not completed, you have to see your dentist to have that work completed.  Otherwise the problem is not solved, and the tooth will at some point cause pain and\or swelling. If you still have pain or discomfort, you will have to check back with your own dentist to determine the cause and the appropriate treatment necessary.

Root Canal Therapy: Good day;
   The tooth appears to require treatment. Years ago especially in Europe a Sargenti method was used to mummify nerve's of teeth. However,  present day root canal therapy is given to patients in a traditional manner taught by Endodontic Departments of American Dental Schools. The results are very effective and durable. Be sure treatment is given to in that manner.

A chronic abscess: May be painless, with symptoms of its presence even as it continues to grow inside the jawbone. Or the area of infection may be walled off by a fibrous membrane, forming a granuloma. Since granulomas are painless and slow-growing, they are discovered only by dental x-ray examinations. The tooth can be saved by root canal therapy and/or surgery.
