ENT surgeons grade the tonsils +1 to +4, +4 are touching and cause difficulty eating/swallowing. Prednisone and Clindamycin +refer to ENT

You should visit your primary doctor to evaluate these and possibly visit the ear, nose, and throat doctor to remove them if they continue to cause discomfort.  Antibiotics do not resolve this issue.
