White patch: White patch most likely not a problem salivary gland. Could be bad teeth the reason for swollen glands. If persisting not getting better, you should see your doctor. Some rare cause  of white patches are precancerous conditions and candidiasis.

Salivary Gland stone: You may have either an infection of the salivary gland on the right side (submandibular gland) or may be a stone blocking the duct of the gland. It probably swells when you eat and then goes down as the saliva passes the obstruction.  See an ENT physician to check your salivary glands.

Swelling: possible causes include, but not limited to, blocked salivary gland duct, neoplasm, draining dental abscess, draining gum abscess, traumatic injury, burn, etc.  Please see your Dentist for differential diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

Not usually.: Over eating combined with a very poor oral hygiene, infected gums,or oral infections,throat infections,ear infections, which can be passed on through salivary ducts to salivary glands can lead to salivary gland infections, &amp; hence the swelling.The other reason can be salivary stones,if the block the ducts. At meal time, when salivary glands produce saliva,the glands swell up.
