Swollen Tongue: Good day;
  Glossitis  is a synonym for inflammation of the tongue. Most frequently in my practice patients bite their tongues which result in pain and swelling. I've biopsied tongues in diagnosing Lipomas; referring these patients to oral surgeons.  Other causes of swollen tongue include genetic disorders, malignancy, metabolic diseases.

Glossitis: The best way to treat inflammation of the tongue is to try to identify cause, for example: allergy, infection, trauma, autoimmune, diet/medication related, tumor etc.
It is important to try an identify cause/effect.  First see if there is diet or medication associations and make appropriate modifications.  If this becomes a chronic condition then having a doctor evaluate would be recommended.

Plica fimbriata: I'm familiar with plica fimbriata Christopher but it is usually painless.  On the occasions that it is painful it is treated conservatively with tylenol, (acetaminophen) motrin or just what you did with the salt water. If it does become chronically painful or bothersome then it can be treated surgically. I don't know what yours looks like exactly but it sounds like something your doctor should see. Good luck.

Glossitis: Inflammation of the tongue may be caused by iron deficiency or vitamin B12  deficiency. Sometimes it can be an intolerance of certain toothpastes. Try maalox mouth washes and taking a multivitamin with iron. If symptoms persist see an oral surgeon or otolaryngologist for evaluation.

my tongue is disgusting and bad smell it has inflammation and white patches why when i use medicine klacid my tongue will be normally 90% and no smell?

Infection: Klacid is an antibiotic so it's use may well be affecting bacteria in your mouth that could be causing an infection. In addition, it has as a side effect nausea and stomach issues so it could be contributing to gastric reflux that could add to your issues. See your doctor and get evaluated for proper dosage and alternative medication possibilities. If your underlying infection is oral, dentist.
