Accepted Answer

Try taking: your thyroid AFTER a MEAL!  (This will delay absorbtion and perhaps help with a SPIKE then LOW absorbtion of the hormone!
BTW You need to have your Thyroid function measured as well.

Low grade fever: Body temperature does fluctuate at different times of the day, usually starts low and get higher at the later part of the day, that is normal physiologic change. As long as the blood work are okay, chronic fatigue syndrome or depressive/anxiety issues may cause symptoms like that too. You come to these diagnosis only after ruling out other abnormalities, have it checked out

Family practice : It could be the affect from smoking, asthma, or seasonal allergies. Whooping cough and reflux are other possible causes.

Several Possibilit: Excessive sleepiness at your age can be do to several causes. A temporary medical problem like mono, anemia, pregnancy, infection or a sleep disorder like sleep apnea or narcolepsy. In older patients it can be due to thyroid, kidney, heart disease etc. You really need to see your primary care doctor.

my daughter's been sleeping well, getting to bed at a good time, without snoring or waking up in the middle of the night. however, she has such a hard time getting up, that it's caused her to miss school and be tired the whole day. why could that be?

: The age related required duration of sleep is more at that age so she may want to get to be earlier than now. Is there allergy in the family? If there is you should launder her beddings more frequently because allergy may also make her feel more tired than normal.

Flu: It could be a viral gastritis but not necessarily the flu citrus . Try a clear liquid diet for 24 hours. That should help. Good Luck

Sleep at night: Most people need eight hours of sleep per night. If you are not giving yourself a chance to get that that's why you are sleepy. Get more sleep. If you are spending eight hours in bed at night but getting poor quality sleep you may have sleep. Apnea, characterized by constantly waking up because of obstruction of the throat. Prominent snoring is typical. A sleep lab is required to diagnose it.

Not tired: Occasionally it is not a concern.  It if continues then you should be evaluated. With your underlying condition of anxiety, the concern for mania would be on my list of things to screen for.  Again, if it is only occasionally and does not interfere with your life, I would not be concerned.  If is becoming more frequent and interfering with your life, then you need to be seen. Unfocused: You should be evaluated for sleep apnea, and possibly ADD by a neurologist

Evaluate your...: Sleep quality, diet, hydration level, amount of stress, and amount of quality exercise.  If you can improve these, you will be less tired throughout the day.
